It is basically a “local-search engine with a database of over 16 million business listings encompassing every zip code across the United States”. Local.com is a very innovative site that specializes in local search and online advertising. Taking advantage of advances in technology, Local.com provides relevant search results for local businesses, products, ad services. You could use Local.com to look up names, phone numbers, and addresses of businesses in your area or beyond. Their listings even include store hours, reviews, services offered, and more. You could actually use Local.com for a variety of purposes, from getting direction to even job hunting. Retailers and business owners could also claim and check their business listings on Local.com.

How do I sign up for a Local.com account?

Signing up for a Local.com account is really easy and straightforward. The first thing that you will have to do is to open Local.com’s website in your internet browser.
